Andy hired me as an Investigator I with the Tennessee Department of Commerce and Insurance in 1983. He was my Director of Investigations until he retired from State Service. I learned so very much from him not only about the art of Investigations but about life itself. His stories of his years with the F.B.I. kept us in stitches.
I retired in 2012 as Assistant Director of the Investigation Section after promotions through the ranks thanks to what I learned in no small part from Andy. Peace to his Ashes!

My condolences to the family. I had the pleasure of knowing Andy and his family many years ago when he moved into the Mount Juliet area . He would make his weekly stop at Adams Gulf service station . That’s where I would get to know Andys famous jokes he would tell me while I fill up his car. We would talk every now and then after he moved to Memphis to be near his grandkids. His was always proud of his family. I always like his wisdom and his intelligence. I’m thankful for your friendship.
