I met Andy in the 7th grade. Back then, I called him “Mouse” but I can’t remember who came up with the nickname. Near my birthday that summer, I walked over to his house because I loved to listen to him play the drums. I remember his dog, a Bassett hound named Samantha (I think). We walk around the neighborhood and talk. He was easy to talk to and a great listener. He drew a birthday card for me that I still have. The front said happy birthday and he had drawn a little pig. On the inside it said I tried to make chocolate chip cookies but I had trouble peeling the M&Ms. Peace, love, and fruin loops, Andy.I am so sorry for the family’s loss, but also very grateful he was in their lives.
