Although I didn't see a lot of Al, I always enjoyed talking and visiting with him. It's not so much a memory, but a characteristic(s) from my perspective. Mr. Adler was such a caring man for others. He always put others before himself and made sure others were taken care of. He was fierce, and gentle at the same time. Both in the best ways possible. Most of all. He was most definitely a family man. He loved his family more than anything. He had love for each family member in his own special way, individually. No matter what their flaws were or how many they had. Because no one is perfect. He was there for them and close friends every time they needed him. He never gave up on anyone he loved and I will forever admire him for that. He was very intelligent and hard working. Always looking for something to do and never turning down a good lunch with friends. Unless he had to, of course. He was the type of person people want more of in the world. You know, someone courteous, thoughtful, and mindful of others around him. Strangers and all. He had chivalry and showed respect. The things we see less and less of everyday. He will be missed, truly. Most by his family and close friends. My deepest condolences to them. Rest easy Mr. Adler. I was blessed to have known you for as long as I did. Thank you for always being true to yourself and others. The world will be a little more darker without you.
His humor in general. The he said "what" when he couldn't hear you will always be the greatest.

Allen (Poppy) Adler was a sweet loving man. Always there for any and everyone. I was blessed and honored to call him my father in law. His love for his children and grandchildren was with all his heart. Heaven has gained a beautiful soul and has received an angel of mercy. You Sir will be missed dearly. May you rest in peace. We know you are at peace and so happy to be with Nana. We love you ... Larry, Tonya and Skyler Adler.
