Adam Wayne Tipton's Obituary
Adam Wayne Tipton, 38, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 16th after a brief illness. Adam was a lifelong resident of Hernando, MS. He graduated from Magnolia Heights in 2002 and then went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Ole Miss and his masters from Arkansas State University. He was a math teacher at Lewisburg High School where he also coached the high school golf and basketball teams over the years. He was so proud to be a Lewisburg Patriot, and at the time of his death he was the coach for both the varsity boys and girls basketball teams. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing and working on his farm. He was a faithful member of Longview Heights Baptist Church in Olive Branch, MS. He loved coaching and teaching, but above all he loved being a Dad to his daughter, Chloe. Adam was a devoted husband, father, and follower of Christ. He is survived by his wife, Meredith, daughter Chloe, his parents .Charlie and Kay, brother Jason (Mindy), nephew Jonathan, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. He also leaves behind countless coaches, players, students, and dear friends whom he considered as family.
A celebration of his life will be held at Longview  Heights on Thursday, September 22nd at 10am with a graveside service to follow at Memorial Park. Visitation will be held at Longview Heights on Wednesday, September 21st from 5-8pm.
