Adam was about Chloe’s age ,maybe a little older, when I first met him. He was at Juanita’s playing in a little blowup pool with water spraying from a hose. He was mostly covered in mud, reveling in all summer had to offer and discovering new things at every turn. I didn’t have the opportunity to know Adam as an adult. But from all I have seen and heard of him, it seems all his life may have been a bit like that day.
