Zenaida deLeon Makapugay M.D., 83, of Cordova passed away Thursday, August 2, 2012 in Naples, Florida. She was a retired physician and a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church-Cordova. She was preceded in death by her husband, Fidel T. Makapugay, Jr. M.D.; son, Finian Makapugay of Columbia, SC; and is survived by her children, Fidel L. Makapugay, III M.D. (Jackie M.D.) of Germantown, Maria Sun R.D. (Heywood) of Cordova, Gigi Taylor (E.L.) of Atlanta, GA and Andrea Singh (Suresh PhD) of Portland, OR; grandchildren, Irene and Eric Makapugay, Nathan and Gregg Sun, Nicky Taylor, Gautam and Sid Singh. The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m., Monday, August 6, 2012, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00 am, Tuesday, August 7, 2012, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church-Cordova with the entombment to follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorials be sent to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church – Cordova, TN.
