Zada H. Curcio's Obituary
Zada Hart Curcio, 95, passed away on November 27, 2016. Zada’s absence will be felt by all who knew her. She lived her life fully bringing people together through her passion for flowers and entertaining with loving kindness. She expressed these gifts in her capacity as Marketing Director of Trezevant Manor, Marketing and Sales at Kirby Pines Estates and traveling for five years sharing her talents promoting and marketing lifetime care before her retirement. As a young woman, Zada was a member of Shady Grove Garden Club, Harmony Kings Daughters, Duration Club, and Memphis City Beautiful Commission. She has always been a dedicated Episcopalian and was a member of the Church of the Holy Communion. In her later years, she became president of the Charlotte Opera Guild and returned to Memphis in 2012. She is survived by her daughter, Zada Hart Gates (Jeptha), two sons, Charles K. Hart and Joe Harris, III (Claire), one brother, Harold Senter, one sister, Lee Glover, two grandchildren, Tanner and Madison Windham, and granddog, Peanut. The family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m., December 5, at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m., Tuesday, December 6 at Trezevant Manor. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
