Zachary Michael Walls' Obituary
Zachary Michael Walls, 40, died on March 9, 2015, after being struck by an automobile while riding his bicycle. Zack was born on August 8, 1974 at Shaw AFB in South Carolina. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, John Walls, James “T” Brooks, and Dorothy Brooks. He is survived by his father, Michael Walls; mother, Deborah Brooks; brother, Owen Walls; sister, Catherine Walls; beloved grandmother, Juanita; step grandfather, Billy Tanner; and maternal aunt, Barbara Polodna and her husband, Paul. Family members would like to also recognize and show appreciation for the parenting assistance of Deanna Walls and Jean Rutledge. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Friday, March 13 and the funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, March 14 all at Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be sent to the Salvation Army.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119, “Behind the Stone Wall.”
