Zachary Stephen Miller's Obituary
Zachary Stephen Miller (Zak), a beloved son, brother, father, and friend, passed away peacefully on
August 18, 2024, at the age of 45. Born on September 24, 1978, in Memphis, Tennessee, Zak spent
his life in the city he sometimes loved, depending on how well the Tigers were playing.
Zak was a dedicated machinist with a career spanning over two decades. His passion for his craft
was evident in his meticulous work and dedication to his profession. Beyond his professional life,
Zak was a man of many interests. He was a martial arts enthusiast, finding solace and discipline in
his training. He also had a deep appreciation for music, video games, comics, and Glenn Danzig.
Zak’s greatest achievement was being a devoted father to his daughters, Christian Nash and Amelia
Miller. He was a constant source of guidance and unconditional love for his family.
Zak was preceded in death by his parents, Stephen and Mary Miller, and his brother, John Miller. He
is survived by his daughters, Christian and Amelia; his grandson, Elijah; his sisters, Angela Moore
(Tim) and Amie Maurice (Jerome); and his nieces.
A memorial service will be held on September 10th at 10 a.m. in the rotunda of the mausoleum at
Memorial Park on Poplar Avenue.
