As I was growing up Yavonne was my mom’s best friend. They crafted together from ceramics to latch hook rugs. They work in the concession stand at Hammond Hills. After mom passed we stayed in touch. We have had lots of fun the last 3 years. Going out to eat, hanging at the park or library, shopping or baking. This past Christmas we baked banana nut bread as she always did. But this year was special as we made a mess, laughed till we cried. 2 turned out of all of them. The bread tasted better than it looked. We didn’t care we were just having a blast making memories. I loved this beautiful lady with all my heart. I know my mom and Mr Rip are glad to have her with them now.
