Wyatt Sharpe Carey's Obituary
Wyatt Sharpe Carey passed away on July 26, 2021 at the age of 64.
Wyatt was the son of Dorothy Sharpe Carey and James Ellsworth Carey of Memphis, Tennessee and was named for his maternal grandfather Wyatt Lawrence Sharpe.
He graduated from Briarcrest High School in 1975. He then attended Union University in Jackson, Tennessee. He started a printing business as well as an appliance repair business; which he ran until his death.
He is survived by his twin sister, Wynn Carey Sorsby (Richard); sister Helen Carey McMahan (James), and brother Alan Ellsworth Carey (Nancy) as well as many nieces and nephews.
A private family service will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
Memorials can be sent to Memphis Union Mission or the Church Health Center.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. A private graveside service will be held for the family.
