A special tribute to my “Uncle Bub”, he amazed me with his strength and endurance through all that he went through. He was obviously a “Super Trooper”. But, my sincere thanks to my “Aunt Pat”, who was a devoted wife and wonderful care giver to Uncle Bub. I am not sad at his passing, as I know he is no longer in pain, and suffering. And….he is walking the Streets of Gold, with David, my Dad, and those of our family that have gone on before him. Don’t you know they are having a blast!!! But, he was a remarkable man, and to be respected and honored with his stability and Faith & Trust in the LORD. He will be tremendously missed here on earth, and our hearts are sadden. But, we grieve for ourselves, but can have a peace knowing that our loved one is in a better place. Aunt Pat, know that I am praying for you, and you are remarkable as well. Dearest Pop, We love you and will miss your wisdom. I haven’t been on the computer in years but I wanted friends to know how truly grateful we are for their kindness the last few tough days. The motorcycle escort from Memorial Park to Olive Branch was truly amazing. You had so many friends come to give respect at visitation, the service and at least 75 cars in the procession line. All your flowers gave the aroma of Heaven. When we arrived at the cemetery the bell started tolling and did not stop until the last prayer. You gave your time to so many organizations, your energy to helping everyone around you and your love to our sweet Lord and your precious family. What a beautiful life, Pop. I can hardly wait to see you again. Thank you for loving me, your grandchildren and Perry. For 30 years you were a blessing in my life. Love you. See you soon. So many wonderful memories come to mind when thinking back on the many hours we spent with Buddy filming and in the edit suite. He helped so many people who stutter – both children and adults – with the marvelous work he did for the Stuttering Foundation. To Pat and the children, we send our sincere and deepest condolences.
