Winfred Earl Blankenship's Obituary
Winfred Earl Blankenship, 62, passed away December 31, 2016. He served with the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office for over 20 years, lastly as a Detective. Mr. Blankenship was preceded in death by his father, Winfred C. Blankenship and granddaughter, Cassy Colunga and is survived by his sons, Adam Blankenship (Joanna) and Matthew Blankenship; mother, Maxine Blankenship; sister, Karen Priebe (Steve); and grandsons, Aidan Blankenship and Matthew Colunga. A memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 5 at Hernando Baptist Church.Arrangements have been entrusted to Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Ave., Memphis TN 38119.
