Willie (Bill) Frank Jameson Jr.'s Obituary
Willie (Bill) Frank Jameson Jr. passed away peacefully on December 23rd, 2025, in Orlando, Florida. Bill was born on December 22nd, 1938, to Willie Frank Jameson Sr and Lola Coley Jameson in Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his wife Patricia Wyatt Jameson. He is survived by his children William Franklin Jameson III (Ashley Jameson, Frank Jameson, David Jameson), Cynthia Jameson Tankersley (Lauren McConnico, Sarah Rupiper, William McConnico, Luke Tankersley), Robert Gregory Jameson, and Brett Andrew Jameson (Andrew Jameson, Evan Jameson).
Bill spent his career in construction, first with his father and brother in Memphis, and then with his sons in Orlando, Florida. After a brief retirement, he began working for FEMA. He used his experience in construction to help families rebuild their homes following disasters. He enjoyed helping people during very stressful times. It also allowed him to travel all over the country, seeing areas that he had never seen. He continued to work for FEMA until shortly before his death.
As a beloved father, brother, uncle, cousin, friend, and co-worker, Bill enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He loved the beach, mountains, Pickwick Lake, dogs, and anywhere he was surrounded by his loved ones. He enjoyed traveling and meeting people.
There will be a brief graveside service on March 14th, 2026, at Memorial Park at 11:00am. In lieu of flowers, the family requests giving donations to the Memphis Humane Society.
