William Henry True's Obituary
William Henry True 82 of Memphis, TN, passed away on September 6, 2024.
Mr. True was born on November 2, 1941, in Memphis, TN, to Henry and Elizabeth Marchetti True. Mr. True graduated in 1959 from Christian Brothers High School and was active in the Catholic Church. He was owner of William True Construction Company. He was very giving with charities and since 2010, he served as a volunteer with Methodist Hospice.
On March 12, 1980, he married Brenda Stayton and lived in the same house since 1980, with granddaughter, Shauna Bumbaugh Lomax. Mr. True was an avid fisherman.
He is survived by his 5 children, William, Michael, David, Gregory True and Cynthia Harston, granddaughter, Shauna Bumbaugh Lomax, great-grandson, William Laurence Lomax and brother, Eddie True.
The family will receive relatives and friends on Friday, September 13 at 1:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home followed by an entombment service at 2:30 p.m. in The Rotunda of Memorial Park Mausoleum.
