I am so sorry to learn of William’s passing. He was a mentor and friend to me as a new principal. We attended many local and state professional meetings with other wonderful Memphis and Shelby County principals, and I had a great time visiting with William and his team at the MIM Barbecue Contest. He almost inspired me to get into selling antiques! I wish I could be there for his service, but I have moved too far from Memphis.
