For my friend and former classmate, Linda. So sorry to hear of the passing of your beloved husband. My sincere thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. In viewing the pictures of your family members, whom I know you dearly love and cherish, and your friends, it is heartwarming to know that you will always be surrounded by their love. Proverbs 3: 5,6–Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths With sympathy, Don Connell.
Sorry about the repeats…couldn’t tell if the photos were showing or not.
Mrs. Reese, & Family, it is with deepest sympathy that I send this. Being one of the teachers on staff during his years at Cherokee, I realize that he was one who really had the children under his care at heart, even when they had left Cherokee. It is my prayer that the Lord will bless you to be comforted by the many memories you have shared. Sincerely, Barbara Hunter & Family

I am so sorry to learn of William’s passing. He was a mentor and friend to me as a new principal. We attended many local and state professional meetings with other wonderful Memphis and Shelby County principals, and I had a great time visiting with William and his team at the MIM Barbecue Contest. He almost inspired me to get into selling antiques! I wish I could be there for his service, but I have moved too far from Memphis. Please know that there is a sad heart full of warm memories thinking of William and extending my deepest sympathy to his family.Rebecca (Becky Dobbs) Giannini Rebecca Giannini, Ed.D. – 1 second ago

What a sadder place this world is today without my dear friend, William Reese. Linda, Allan, Mary & Emily, Michael & I extend our deepest sympathy to each of you. I treasure the 19 years I worked with William at Cherokee and all the fun auction nights we shared in Memphis and Rossville. My memories of him are cherished ones and will provide a comfort to me in the sad days ahead. God bless you all.
