William Nutt's Obituary
WILLIAM “Bill” RANDOLPH NUTT, JR., went home to be with our Lord on Saturday, May 14, 2011. He was born on May 5, 1936, in Amity, AR, to William and Juanita Nutt. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was a State Farm Insurance agent for over 30 years. After his retirement, he took the opportunity to partake in his favorite pastime, playing golf. Bill was an exceptional man and a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and friend. If you were lucky enough to know Bill, then your life is richer because of his sense of humor and his generous, open-hearted spirit. He loved his grandchildren with all his heart, as each one was the apple of his eye. He leaves behind his beloved wife, Betty; a son, Michael Nutt of Baltimore, MD; two stepsons, Gary Darnell and Rick Turner and their wives. He also leaves his brother and sister-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Nutt of Texarkana, TX. He was blessed with six grandchildren and countless friends. He was a member of Kirby Woods Baptist Church. Services will be held at Memorial Park Funeral Home Wednesday, May 18, at 1 p.m. Visitation will be Tuesday, May 17, from 5-7 p.m. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 18, 2011 also at Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family requests a donation to the American Cancer Society.
