William Stephen Murray Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Steve age 84 of Memphis, Tennessee passed away on September 15, 2024.
He was born on July 28, 1940 in Houston Texas, to the late Kemball Jack Murray and Eva Bell Pritchett,
Mr. Steve graduated from Treadwell High School in 1958 and then went on to Memphis State University (now University of Memphis) and graduated in 1962. During his lifetime, he owned Murray Mobile Homes and Aaron Financial Services. In 1961, he married the love of his life, Dorothy Stewart Murray whom he spent 63 wonderful years with.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dorothy; two sons, William Stephen Murray, II and his wife, Ann and Stewart Shannon Murray and his wife, Cybil; one daughter, Shawn Murray Leonard and her husband, Greg; one sister, Eva Jacqueline Murray; six grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.
Funeral Service for Mr. Steve will be held on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 1:00pm in the Fireside Chapel. The family will receive friends for visitation an hour prior to the service starting at 12:00pm.
