William "Bill" Miller's Obituary
William L. Miller, 84, of Lakeland, Tennessee, passed away on October 4, 2024. Born to Lloyd and Lela Miller in Mincy, Missouri,
Bill was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and a dedicated member of The Cherokee Nation.
A successful Certified Public Accountant, Bill passed the CPA exam on his first attempt. He was also a Master Mason Shriner at the Al Chymia Shrine. Alongside his beloved wife Beverly, Bill devoted over 35 years to volunteer work at both the Orpheum Theatre and The Wonders Exhibit series.
Bill is survived by his wife of 62 years, Beverly Miller, and their three children: Travis A. Miller, Susan M. Wright, and Sean M. Miller. He was also blessed with five grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A celebration of Bill’s life will be held on Friday, October 11, 2024, at 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN 38119. Friends are invited to gather for a visitation starting at 10:00 AM, with interment following the services.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to UMCOR (United Methodist Committee on Relief) or the charity of your choice.
