I was the 1st baby that Dr. Mackey delivered. Mama's dr. was out and Dr. Mackey was on call.
26 years later, Dr. Mackey delivered my daughter.
He was a wonderful, kind and caring man. I think of him often.

Oh Dr Mackey, what a true ledgend he was. We got to know him while providing companionship for him while he was in the Woodlake community. I loved the stories he would tell about when he was at thebattle of the buldge and just so many interesting things he had accomplished.
One fond memory that I shared with him was taking him to get his drivers license. He only ran 2 stop lights lol,but we made it there. On his last question for the test was the train track symbol and he just couldn’t remember that one got all the rest but that one, so I wrote it out on my hand and showed him and HE PASSED. I think he was 95 at the time. But he was like piece of cake I got this.
He lived a long full life, now he can rest high on that mountain.
