LAMPLEY, Jr., William Robert “Bob” –Age 86 of Southaven, MS, died peacefully Dec. 13, 2010.Born Sept. 23, 1924 in Memphis to the late Audrey Hoy and W.R. Lampley Sr. He was a US Army Air Corps veteran of WWII.In 1943 began Lampley and Lampley Certified Public Accountants with partner-wife, retired in 1985. President of TN Asso of Public Accts 1968-1969 and President of Natl. Society of Public Accts 1976-1977. Served as chair in major committees in professional and civic organizations and church. Bible teacher and very active at First United Pentecostal Church and Calvary Pentecostal Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Marjorie Christine Achord, and brothers, Jack, Aubrey, and J.D., sister Mary Ellen Owens, daughters Becki Fortner, Debbie Throgmartin (Keith), and Chris Fullen (Brian), and son Wm Rbt Lampley III “Bob,” grandchildren Logan Fortner (Judith), Becca Beverstein (Joe), Christina Keaton (James), Monica Dawson (Wesley), Bobby Lampley IV, Eric Lampley, Jacob Lampley, Audra and Myles Fullen, and great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made for foreign missions to Heritage Christian Life Ctr., 6100 Elmore Rd., Southaven, MS 38671 or for Israel missions to Prayer Avenue, 4400 Belmont Park Terr., Unit 207, Nash.
