William Sharp Killen's Obituary
William Sharp Killen, 94 of Cordova, TN, passed away on February 2, 2024.
Mr. Killen was born on April 9, 1929, in Florence, AL to Stribling Killen and Minnie Louise Sharpe Killen. He was a 1947 graduate of Coffee County High School and served in the United States Air Force Air Defense in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
A member of Ridgeway Baptist Church, he was a ranch farmer, merchant, specialized in apparel and furniture maker.
He is survived by his daughter, Laura Ray, Jenny Hutto and Jennifer (Henry) Blank, sons, Steve Killen,
Jay (Amanda) Killen, grandchildren, Josh (Amy) Ray, great-grandchildren, Emma Grace, Mary Claire, Zoie Ann.
Mr. Killen was preceded in death by his Parents, Stribling and Minnie Louise Sharpe Killen, wife, Martha Jane Killen and sons, Jordan Lincoln Killen and William S. Killen, II
The family will receive relatives and friends on Thursday, February 8 from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave, Memphis, TN, 38119, with a graveside service to follow at 2:30 p.m. at Memorial Park Southwoods, 5485 Hacks Cross RD, Memphis, TN, 38125.
