He is preceded in death by the love of his life Judy Hurst and was married to her for 60 years, his parents D.Q. and Shirley Hurst of Navarre, FL and his four sisters and brother.
Bill was born July 1, 1940 in Port Aransas, TX. He graduated from Choctawhatchie High School in Fort Walton Beach, FL and attended Ole Miss on a full athletic football scholarship.
