William A. Hollebrand's Obituary
William Abram Hollebrand, age 74, passed away peacefully after a short illness on November 13, 2024. He was born in Rochester NY on July 23, 1950, and grew up in Ontario NY.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Susan (Baum) Hollebrand, daughter Rachel (Steve) Yonkers of Webster NY, grandchildren Adria and Max Yonkers. Also survived by Sister-in-laws Lynda Baum-Jakubiak of Albany NY and Eileen (Walter) Hamilton of Clermont FL; siblings Kathy (Nate) Prouty, Gregg Kaufmann, Ed (Sue) Thomas, and Joanne (Rick) Dolby; nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Bill was predeceased by his parents Issac Hollebrand and Sara (Verburg) Hollebrand, and his sister Elizabeth (Hollebrand) Scoville. Also predeceased by his biological/birth mother Esther (Daggett) Chaffer with whom he was blessed to meet in June 2010.
Bill loved his Lord with all his heart, soul and strength (Deuteronomy 6:5) and had a strong faith and compassionate heart which was evident to all who knew him. He enjoyed reading and studying all things biblical and had a passion for the State and People of Israel. He loved learning about his own genealogy and finding out more about his heritage.
The family will have a private Celebration of Life service at a future date and time.
