William Hall's Obituary
William B. Hall (Bill), a native of Memphis, TN passed away after a prolonged illness at his residence in Lantana, Florida on June 29th at the age of 79. He is survived by daughters Tracey Hall-Mansour (Rick) of Seal Beach, CA and Anne Hall Hurley (Lee) of Birmingham, AL; sons William Clayborne Hall of Newport Beach, CA and Christopher Britton Hall (Leslie) of Fairhope, AL; grandchildren Christopher Britton Hall, Elizabeth Alexandra Hall, Elizabeth Britton Hurley, William Chase Hall, William Lee Hurley and Leslie Anne Hall. Bill was a consummate entrepreneur, starting and selling numerous companies over the years ranging from health care services to plastics manufacturing. He was the founder and principal owner of HB Associates which later merged with First Marketing Services where he spent the remainder of his business career. He was an avid golfer, achieved his pilot’s license after the age of fifty, loved to fish and captain his own vessel. He was a member of Cherokee Country Club in Atlanta and Ibis Country Club in West Palm Beach, FL. Services will be held Friday, July 13th 11:30 a.m. at the Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue, Memphis, Tennessee 38119. Visitation will begin at 11:00 a.m. Bill is predeceased by his mother and father John and Ethel Hall of Memphis; his brother Harold Lee Hall of Atlanta, Georgia and Rebecca Roof Hall also of Atlanta.
