William Frazee's Obituary
William M. Frazee, 91, went to be with the Lord on November 29, 2012 after a short illness. Bill was a Certified Public Accountant. In 1956, he founded the firm now known as Frazee, Ivy and Davis, CPAs. He was a past president of the Memphis Chapter of CPAs, past president of the Tennessee Society of CPAs, and for a number of years served on the Council of the American Institute of CPAs. He was a devoted member of First Assembly of God Church, where he served for almost 50 years on the official Church Board and as Chairman of the Finance Committee. He also served as Church Treasurer and was a strong supporter of First Assembly Christian School. Beginning in 1960, and for the next 30 years, Bill was an active participant in the lodging industry, owning and operating several Holiday Inns in varied locations. Bill was a great lover of the outdoors and spent many happy hours hunting and fishing. He enjoyed golf and was a member of Colonial Country Club. Bill dearly loved his family. He is survived by his loving wife, Ana; a son, William A. Frazee (Susan); a daughter, Nancy Bern (Murray) of Boston; three step-daughters, Chantal Johnson (Jeff), Michelle Grider and Danielle Vanzant of Dallas; nine grandchildren; and six great grandchildren. His wife of 65 years, Priscilla, preceded him in death in 2006. The family will receive friends from 1:30 p.m. until the service begins at 3:00 p.m. Sunday, December 2, at Memorial Park Mausoleum Rotunda, with entombment to immediately follow.
