William Lee Fox's Obituary
On Friday, September 30, 2022, William "Bill" Fox passed away at the age of 77 at Methodist LeBonheur Hospital in Germantown, Tennessee.
Bill was born October 22, 1944 in Brookville, Pennsylvania to Lee Fox and Dorothy (Silvas) Fox. Joining in the Air Force at age 19, he served honorably from 1963 to 1967. He worked for Honeywell Inc for 32 years as an HVAC technician. When retiring for Honeywell, he was a manager for the Tom Sawyer RV Park in West Memphis, Arkansas and then worked with Adesa Raleigh Auto Auction. Bill lived in Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, Florida, North Carolina, Arkansas, and Tennessee.
Bill's strong beliefs and character lef him to missionary work with several organizations to include Cursillo, Life in Spirit Seminars, and Healing Ministries. He served on several parish counsels, eucharistic, and prison ministries. He was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church in Memphis, Tennessee. Bill had a passion for woodworking and was at home in his workshop. He enjoyed making rocking horses, board games, furniture, coasters, and various trinkets cherished by all.
Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Lee and Dorothy, his wife Carolyn Fox, his brother Rhudy Fox, and his two brother in law, James Boyer and James Parrett. He is survived by his wife, Rose Fox, his sisters, Kay Boyer and Debra Parrett, and his sister in law, Karen Fox, his son Todd (Heather) Fox, stepdaughter Laurie (Ron) Rossi, stepson Carl (Kristen) Aube, his grandchildren, Emily and Kevin Brown, Haley Rossi, Anna Rossi, Sophia Rossi, Isabel Rossi, Samantha and Brent Haskins, Chancellor Aube, Theresa Aube, Sophie Fox, and William Fox. He is also survived by his great grandchildren, Gianna and Lucy Brown, as well as many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
A mass of Christian burial will be at St. Michael Catholic Church, 3863 Summer Ave, Memphis, Tennessee 38112 on Tuesday, October 4, 2022 at 10:30am
