William Robert Dixon III's Obituary
Mr. William Robert Dixon age 86 of Red Banks, Mississippi passed away on April 3, 2023 at Baptist Hospital Collierville.
He was born on March 27, 1937 in Memphis, Tennessee to the late William Robert Dixon, Jr. and Sarah Magline Youngman Dixon.
Mr. Dixon graduated from Germantown High School, served his country in the United States Air Force and volunteered as a fireman at Mt. Pleasant Fire Deptartment. His lifelong passion of farming and raising cattle was fulfilled until his last day here on earth. Hobbies included wood carving, fishing and coin collecting.
Survivors include his wife of sixty-two years, Mary Ford Dixon; two sons, William Robert Dixon V, and Kyle Dixon and three grandchildren, Kathryn Langolis, Julia Dixon and Will Dixon.
Funeral Service for Mr. Dixon will be conducted on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 2:00pm in the Fireside Chapel at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The Family will receive friends for visitation an hour prior to the service starting at 1:00pm. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
