William F. Davis' Obituary
William F. Davis, 86, passed away July 6, 2014 at Ave Maria Home. He served in the U.S. Marine Corps and was a foreman with Steam Fitters Local 614. He was preceded by his wife of 62 years, Rose Marie Davis. He leaves his daughter, Lee Russell (Philip); sons, Mark Davis (Jean), Greg Davis (Florecita), Darrell Davis (Janet); 8 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday, July 9 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, July 10 at Messiah Lutheran Church, 3721 Austin Peay Hwy, Memphis, TN 38128 where he was a charter member. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Messiah Lutheran Church.
