I was recently ask who had mad a spiritual impact on my life leading me into a closer relationship with Jesus. My memories as a student at WPS of prayer lock-ins and chapel services led by Dr Brown created a deep hunger to know the Lord.
I looked him up and sadly saw he had last on to be with the Lord…not sad for him.
I want to express my deep gratitude to his family for his impact on my life. I pray His blessing on your family.

I met Dr. Brown as a young police officer and he the police chaplain in 1978. He was a man of extraordinary insight, wisdom and compassion. He married my wife and I in 1985. He told me he tied tight knots. 29 years later we are still tied by the knot Dr. Brown tied. I have not spoken to him in years but thought of him often. I really appreciated his guidance and have carried with me many of the “wisdoms” he would share. To the family I am so sorry for your loss. You know he is with the Lord though and will be with you always in the wonderful memories.
