William C. Ciarloni's Obituary
William (Bill) Charles Ciarloni passed away Monday, December 28, 2020 at the age of 97. He is survived by his wife Margie of 30 years, daughter Shirley Noe, son William Jr. (Teresa), daughter Sherry Kizziah, step daughters Laurie Putzke (Stewart), Debbie Howell, and Cindy Medlin (Bill) and one brother Leonard Ciarloni. He grandfathered 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren. Bill was born May 29, 1923 in Clarksdale, MS. Bill was son to Robert & Della Morganti Ciarloni, who immigrated to the US from Senigalla, Italy in the early 1900's. He was the oldest of 5 children. Bill served 2 years in the US Army during WWII. He was an active member of Holy Rosary church, where he donated his time by ushering and collecting the offering. In his early adult hood Bill owned his own grocery store but later went on to work at Liberty Cash grocery warehouse. After retirement he worked at Russel's Hardware Store, where he retired from 3 years ago. Bill loved sports and was an avid fan of the University of Memphis, Tigers. He also loved to grow flowers and vegetables. Particularly tomatoes. He also enjoyed bowling in his youth. In his senior years, Bill enjoyed ballroom dancing, where he met the love of his life, Margie. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Holy Rosary Church in memory of Bill's devotion to the church. The funeral mass will be held Friday, January 8th at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Mausoleum.
