I had the privilege to work with Chief Oldham, and later with Sheriff Oldham, when working on the Fallen Heroes Memorial Service at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery. Additionally, I served with Bill as we planned the funeral for Inspector William Sears. It was an honor to know Bill. He was an upstanding man, and an exceptional law enforcement officer. His love of service to our community and his fellow officers was touching. Sheriff Oldham wanted the very best for fellow law enforcement officers and it showed in my interactions with him on my committees and as a funeral director. I am so grateful for men like Bill Oldham. May God raise up more of them in Memphis and Shelby County.
May our LORD bring peace to Bill's family and close friends. May you know the comfort of your Heavenly Father as you grieve this loss. Love and prayers,
