Our acquantance with Coach Bill was through Rossville Christian Academy. As football coach and athletic director he brought a sense of respect and integrity to our organization. He taught our students and athletes to do their best at every thing they attempted. His influence is still in evidence by the adults those students have become. It is an honor to have known such a wonderful person. Our prayers are with your family at this time

Coach and biology teacher, Osceola, Ar….Most of my junior and senior high school memories of Coach Beall. He loved my father who was one of the local dentists and never failed to kid me.He gave us the hardest lesson we ever had in biology which was to get the spine of a sardine out of the fish and can in one piece.He had a great personality and I will also never forget him trying to make a basketball player out of 12 years old girls.. Although I only got to know Coach over the past two years, I will miss his presence at The Monarch and the butterscotch candy he handed out. What a remarkable life. My best to his friends and family.
Though only a ten-year old boy when Coach Beall came to Horn Lake High School in 1950, I remember how well liked he was by my older brother and his age group. On occasion, over the years, I read things about his successful career as a coach and enjoyed the fact that his path brought him through our small community and school. I had the privilege of sharing the home town of Osceola, AR and a few years of work with Union Carbide Corp with Bill. We once attended a work meeting together in Chicago about 1981- 1982. (When paychecks were considerably smaller than today) Here is our conversation while we were standing in the middle of downtown.Bill: Canada, I sure hope nobody ever offers me $100,000.00 to move up here. Me: Why is that Coach? Bill: I sure would hate to have to turn that much money down!I only regret not be able to be around him more.
