William "Buster" Barron's Obituary
William Steve “Buster” Barron (83) of Collierville, TN passed away peacefully on January 24th, 2025 after a long courageous battle with Parkinson’s and Dementia. Buster was born on April 1st, 1941, and he attended Germantown High School. He went on to graduate from the University of Memphis with a degree in Business Administration where he was a member of Kappa Sigma fraternity. He loved playing golf and was a beloved member of Windyke and Ridgeway Country Clubs where he served on various committees. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family and watching his grandchildren play sports. Buster worked in commercial real estate for 43 years, and he was member of Grace Evangelical Church in Germantown. Buster had a strong Christian faith. He leaves behind his wife Judy, brother Dr. Freddie Barron (Marji) of Knoxville, three children, Doug (Leslie), Carol (Robert), Christi (Jim), four grandchildren, Buzz, Walker, Wiley, and William.
Buster’s family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the staff of the Farms at Jordan River for their timeless devotion to Buster’s well-being and comfort. We would also like to thank Crossroads Hospice for all of their support.
Services will be held at Grace Evangelical Church on January 31st, 2025. Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. The memorial service will follow directly after. The family will be accepting guests at the home of Robert and Carol Stearns after the service.
