As a ER nurse, I worked with Dr Adam for many years when he was called to the ER. I admired his dedication to his profession, his skills, and his patients. I also worked with him in his office seeing patients as well as assisting him in surgery. One morning after office hours, we walked over to the hospital to see his hospital patients when he received a call from the office secretary. She told Dr Adams that a patient had come in late. We immediately turned around and headed back to the office. One thing he said stuck with me all during my years as a nurse and added to my admiration of him as caring physician.
As we were returning to his office he said, “ I don’t like for my patients to have to wait. Their time is as important as mine.”
Thanks Dr Adams for all the opportunities to work and learn from you.
