Willard Fisher's Obituary
Willard I. Fisher, 90, loving father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, was called home by our Lord and Saviour on Sunday, February 17, 2013. Born in Decaturville, TN, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen, two sisters, and four brothers. He leaves his three children, Bob Fisher of Destin, FL, Barbra Nanney of Collierville, and Gail Inkster of Memphis, nine grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Mr. Fisher was a WW II veteran, serving in the U.S. Army in the Pacific campaign. He retired from the Memphis Defense Depot and subsequently volunteered for several years at the Memphis Veterans Medical Center. He was a long-time member of Highland Heights Methodist Church. The family will receive friends at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave., 11 a.m.-1 p.m. on Tuesday, February 19, with the memorial service immediately following. Memorial donations may be made to Highland Heights Methodist Church, 3476 Summer Ave. Memphis, TN 38122.
