Warren Williamson's Obituary
W. WESLEY “Wes” WILLIAMSON, 84,, formerly of Memphis, TN, passed away November 7, 2012 at Methodist Hospice. He leaves his wife of 67 years, Gen Williamson; children, Wayne and Jane Williamson; grandchildren, Shannon and Wesley Williamson, all of Olive Branch; his brother-in-law, Jack Cole of Memphis; nephew and his family, Jeff, Floy, and Elizabeth Cole of Memphis, and niece and her family, Janet, Terri, and Cole Edwards of Eads, TN. After serving in the Korean War, Wes began a successful career in the automobile business at Gilmore Motors and then at Schilling Lincoln Mercury on Union Ave. An avid golfer, he was a member of the former Whitehaven County Club. Wes was a member of the Getwell Road United Methodist Church in Southaven, where services will be held on Friday, November 9 at 2 p.m., with visitation from 12-2 p.m. Burial will be in the SouthWoods Memorial Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to the church building fund at Getwell Road United Methodist Church, 7875 Getwell Road, Southaven, MS. 38672.
