Warren Matthew Barbee's Obituary
Warren Matthew Barbee, 44 – Beloved son, brother, uncle and dear friend to many passed away on April 22, 2014. He is survived by his parents, Peggy Hall Barbee, and Taylor G. Barbee Jr. (Marilyn), along with his sister, Catherine Kastner (Ron), and niece, Helen Kastner. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Taylor G. Barbee, Sr. of Memphis, TN, and Mr. & Mrs. James L. Hall of Tuscaloosa, AL. Warren was born on July 2, 1969, and enjoyed every level of life to the fullest: family, friends, golf, flying planes, cooking, music, Alabama football, and his yellow lab, “Bama”. His enormous personality exuded kindness, and he loved making people around him happy. Warren’s laugh was inspiring, and he always had a knack for making others feel comfortable in any situation. We will miss Warren immensely, but know our lives are better for having had him with us for the 44 years of life which he lived with such passion. Warren attended Briarcrest Christian School and SE Missouri State University, where he was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, April 24 at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
