Walter Wolfe Rotchild Jr's Obituary
Walter W Rotchild, Jr, 97, passed away on April 4, 2025. He was born in Clarksdale, MS on February 12, 1928 to parents (deceased), Walter W Rotchild and his wife Kate Woolbert Rotchild.
He was predeceased by his wife, Dorothy Jean Rotchild and his sister, Louise Kushner. He loved and always had time for his nieces and nephews and their families, Lisa Breazeale, Knoxville, TN, Kathy Norris (Gray), Weaverville, NC, Larry Williams (Cherri), Jefferson City, MO.
Walter was an alumnus of Mississippi State University, received his CPA license in 1949, served in the Korean War and received his law degree in 1954. He was a partner at Ratner, Rotchild, and Sealand, attorneys at law until he retired.
Walter and Jean loved dogs and looked for any opportunity to assist local and national shelters for the betterment of all animals. In their commitment to help large breed dogs and small animals, they assisted the College of Veterinary Medicine at Mississippi State University.
