Walter "Jack" Jackson Johnson, Jr's Obituary
Walter “Jack” Johnson Jr,72, of Nesbit, MS passed away Friday March 5, 2021 at his home. Jack was born in Memphis, Tennessee and raised in Tunica, Mississippi. After high school, he attended Mississippi State University while studying finance. He worked at National Bank of Commerce for many years before retiring from BanCorp South Bank. He was a longtime member of Minor Memorial United Methodist Church. Preceded in death by his father, Walter Johnson Sr. and mother Imogene Hardin Johnson. Survived by his wife of 51 wonderful years Nancy Johnson, son Clay Johnson (Ginny), daughter Kelly Lumpkin (Bryan), brothers Billy Johnson (Luann) and Randy Johnson (Carla), and 4 wonderful grandchildren, Seth Johnson, Nathan Lumpkin, Abby Johnson, and Jackson Lumpkin.

In lieu of flowers, the family request any memorials be made to Minor Memorial United Methodist Church or the Alzheimer’s Association.
A gathering of family and friends will be Friday March 12, 2021 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Memorial Park Funeral Home, 5668 Poplar Ave. Memphis, TN 38119 A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 AM in the Fireside Chapel of Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery.
