WALTER VIRGIL FAY SR., 91, formerly of Memphis and was residing in Clinton, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, March 10, 2012. Visitation will be held from 1:30-2:30 p.m., at Memorial Park Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 15 in Memorial Park Cemetery. He was born March 28, 1920, and raised in DeValls Bluff, Arkansas of Prairie County. He was born to the late Orley Edward and Mae Fay; married 65 years to Myrtis Johnson Fay and had several brothers who have all preceded him in death. He is survived by his loving family: his daughter, Virginia Fay Armstrong of Arlington, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Walter V. and Tina Fay, Jr., of Clinton, AR; grandchildren, Debbie and Stephen Modawell of Arlington, TX; Teresa and Paul Wharton of Graham, TX; Ronnie and Crystal Armstrong of Graham, TX; Scott and Janece Armstrong, Sr. of Graham, TX, and Melanie and Eddie Cox of Collierville, TN; as well as 18 great-grandchildren; 15 great-great-grandchildren; and many nephews and nieces, and friends.
