Walter was born May 6, 1925 in Brooklyn, NY with a lively stock of red hair. From that moment his father, Morgan Creamer from Cappamore, Ireland and Hazel McLoughlin of Brooklyn, NY knew they had their hands full. Walter had a way of brightening up any room he walked into, a quick infectious laugh, and a smile for all. He loved a great joke, never meet a stranger and always left a room with more friends than when he entered that room. Walter leaves behind his loving wife of 64 years, Beverly Creamer of Jamaica Plains, MA and loves to tell everyone the he fell in love with her the first time they meet due to the monogram on her sweater – B.E.D. He spent 30 years with Dow Chemical, as Director of Sales and Marketing Nationally, in Europe and Africa. He was an avid golfer, cyclist, and skier. Most importantly he had a passion for helping others. He volunteered with St. Jude’s Hospital, was a founding member of the Church of the Holy Spirit, actively worked with the Christian Brother’s College International program, a dedicated Rotarian and member of the Knights of Columbus. Even with his busy life style, Walt still had time to raise 6 wonderful children, who will miss him dearly. Steve and Tammy Creamer from Denver, CO., Linda and Brad Wetzel, of Houston ,TX, Laura Creamer, from Memphis, TN, Leslie and Rick O’Leary, of Memphis, TN, Lisa and Scott Hamlin, from Portland, OR and Loesje and Brandon Linton, of Johnson City, TN.
