Walter H. Aeschliman, Sr.'s Obituary
Walter Hazle Aeschliman, Sr., 82, of Germantown, passed away on Sunday, June 23rd, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and John Aeschliman and a brother, Jack Aeschliman. Mr. Aeschliman is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Patricia Aeschliman, five children, Walt Aeschliman (Lisa), Mike Aeschliman (Teresa), Elaine Aeschliman, Pat “Trisha” Aeschliman and Joe Aeschliman (Dana), seven grandchildren, Courtney, Austin, Ryan, Johnny, Matthew, Taylor and Ashley, and three great-grandchildren, Peyton, Bella and Mason. Mr. Aeschliman graduated from Humes High School. He went into the U.S. National Guard and served proudly for his country. He attended Memphis State University and went on to become a salesman for Snap-on. After he retired from Snap-on Tools, he worked at Home Depot because he just couldn’t sit around and get old. He loved to sing and dance from back in the day until the end. The family would like to thank everyone at both Page Robbins Adult Day Center and The Arbors at South Breeze. Without their caring staff Mr. Aeschliman’s days wouldn’t have been near as fulfilling and happy. The family will recieve relatives and friends on Wednesday, June 26th from five o’clock in the afternoon until eight o’clock in the evening with a rosary commencing at seven thirty at Memorial Park Funeral Home and Cemetery, 5668 Poplar Avenue in Memphis. The funeral will be held on Thursday, June 27th at two o’clock in the afternoon also at the funeral home. The burial will immediately follow at Memorial Park Cemetery. Customary remembrances can be made in Mr. Aeschliman’s name to Page Robbins Adult Day Center (1961 S Houston Levee Rd, Collierville, TN 38017).
