Wally was one of the kindest friend I ever knew. We worked together at Carbondale and Chicago.. At Carbondale I often stayed at his home on the lake. Several times we attended the Duquoin state fair together. There were so many great memories of our time together. Although not being together for several years I thought of his kindness to me over the years. I will surely miss him.Charlie Newbill
