W. Fred Montgomery's Obituary
W. Fred Montgomery, 93, passed away on March 28, 2016. He was born in Winona, MS on July 13, 1922. Preceded in death by his parents, Andrew Walker and Willie Grace Watts, along with his son, Frederick B. and 5 brothers and 6 sisters. Survived by his loving wife of 70 years, LaForie Montgomery, sons, Steven A. and Andrew H., daughter in law, Suzanne and 2 grandchildren. Fred was a WWII Veteran and served his country as a medic in the South Pacific. He was a deacon at First Baptist Church in Atoka. He was loved and admired for his love for the Lord Jesus Christ and the many books he wrote regarding the Bible. He was the founder and owner of Automatic Sanitation Inc. The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 2 from 11:00-1:00 with the funeral service to follow immediately. All services will be held at Memorial Park.
