I moved from Ohio to across the street from Ann about 12 years ago. She befriended me immediately even though I was a Yankee. Over the years we became good friends. She was always quick to lend a hand when needed. I will cherish our back patio talks always. She loved working in her yard and was very generous with giving me pieces of her beautiful hostas to start in my flowerbeds. Last spring when she shared some plants with me she said “when I am gone, you can look at those and think of me.” I will miss her dearly.
