Oh Aunt Gin, I am so sorry not to have known about your passing. First, just after our last visit to Memphis, Uncle Tony passed and then on 18 March 2014, Tony Jr passed. Almost 4 months later, you must have been so heart broken — as your nephew I am so saddened by this news. Mom (Margaret Ann Burns Hooser) or Maggie Burns passed on 29 Oct 2012, and we just lost touch with all of you, and I am over here in Huntsville, AL a mere 3 hours from Memphis. Sorry to everyone reading this — it is so sad that all of Rossine family has departed. Our Dear Aunt Ginny, you have always been a staple in our family. Your warm heart, humor and love of family has always shined through in your smile. The biggest highlight of our life was the visits we shared whether in Tennessee or in Philadelphia. It was like Christmas when we were together. The memories are too plentiful to pick just one but, our lives are more rich because you were in it. May you rest in peace with Uncle Tony and my “brother” Tony in paradise. I have very fond memories of Aunt Ginny. Not many people can say that they are close with their fifth cousins, as my children are. This all began with the closeness of our grandparents, which created closeness between the following generations. A strong family bond is what we have. There is so much I want to say and I find it hard to put it all in writing. When I think of Aunt Ginny, I think of Paris Island and basketball. She loved her basketball! I remember when I would visit, the game was always on. A warm heart and a welcoming home, she kept. Aunt Ginny, you will be missed here on earth. However, I am sure that Uncle Tony is in his glory and you all are entertaining the heavenly skies, as you did here on earth…a family of music and laughter. I am keeping all of you in my prayers.
