Virginia Reynolds Morgan's Obituary
VIRGINIA BOWMAN REYNOLDS MORGAN, 89, passed away October 8, 2010. Virginia “Ginny” was born in Portland, Maine to John and Mildred Bowman on December 17, 1920. She was a marvelous singer and had a wonderful laugh and joie de vivre. While at Pembroke College (Brown University), Virginia sang on the Fred Allen Show. She lived all over the U.S. She was the widow of Robert Lee Reynolds and Jack Charles Morgan. She was predeceased by her sister Louise Bowman Wing. Virginia was the mother of Marilyn Reynolds Duffy Touborg (Jens), Patricia Reynolds Johnson (Harry), Andrea Morgan Wilson (Jim) and step-mother of John Charles Morgan, Sara Charlene Morgan and Christa Judy Morgan Stanley (Bruce). She was the proud grandmother of Birru Morgan, Emmanuel Hamza Weinman, Matthew Duffy, Neal Duffy, McKenzie Johnson Burlseon, Kelly Johnson, David Stanley and Sean Stanley. She had many great-grandchildren. Services for Virginia will be on Wednesday, October 13 at Christ United Methodist Church. Visitation will be in the parlor from 1-2 p.m. and the service will be in Wilson Chapel at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Memorial Park Funeral Home.
