Virginia McAdams Enoch's Obituary
At noon on Christmas Day, 2016, Virginia McAdams Enoch, 95, began her first day in heaven with her Lord and Savior. She lived a life blessed with good health and independent living up until four weeks before her death. Virginia was born October 20, 1921 in Luray, TN to Erwin Wilson McAdams and Annie Mae Bell. Virginia had many interests and was very talented in many mediums using her nimble fingers to create her children’s school costumes, quilts, afghans, baby booties, sweaters, baskets, jewelry and scarves. She was easily recognized at Town Village, where she resided for the last 12 years, by one of her animal broaches always worn on her right shoulder. She especially loved to play card games and work puzzles. She is preceded in death by her husband, Talton Woodrow Enoch. She is survived by her 3 children, Talton Douglas Enoch (Betsy), Carolyn Enoch Moss (Mike) and Joe McAdams Enoch (Brenda). She also leaves 7 grandchildren, William Howard Enoch (Lisa), Clayton Woodrow Enoch (Krista), Molly McAdams Brant (Matt), Mandy Moss Weeks (Brian), Dana Michael Moss II (Tracey), Joellyn Elizabeth Brazile (Stuart), Richard McAdams Enoch (Amy) and 17 great-grandchildren. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm with services at 7:00 pm Wednesday, December 28 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. A graveside celebration will be held in Henderson, TN at the City Cemetery at 10:30 am, Thursday, December 29. The family requests that memorial donations be sent to Calvary Rescue Mission in Memphis, TN or the charity of your choice.
