Virginia M. Henderson's Obituary
Virginia M. Henderson, 100, born December 1, 1921 and passed away on May 15, 2022.
She is at peace knowing she was an amazing wife, mother, mother in law, grandmother, sister to 10 brothers and sisters, and nieces and nephews. Virginia had one son, Gary and his wife Charlene. Gary passed away on November 28, 2021, and one granddaughter Dawn Tyner (Terry).
She was known for her kindness, compassion, sense of honesty, respectfulness, and loyalty. She enjoyed all holidays, especially Christmas. She loved shopping, decorating, cooking, and baking.
She loved going to Gatlinburg, TN and went for several years with her family.
Words cannot express how much we miss you and we thank God for all the memories that He blessed us with your presence for over 100 years. We will never forget your kind spirit, lovely smile, gentle hugs and your warm loving caring ways.
Virginia had a gift of giving and wanting everyone to be happy.
Your life was a blessing. Your memory a treasure. You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure.
The graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, June 13th, 2022 at Memorial Park Funeral Home. The visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers please donate to the Alzheimer’s Association or St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
